1. What percentage of steam-saving can you deliver?
The savings depends on the amount of live steam losses through the existing steam traps. Generally, a 5-55% savings maybe expected together with the installation of Steam Condensate Recovery Unit.
2. Do SteamPro Traps used in SteamPro Condensate Recovery System, ever get blockage?
Yes. Small orifices may be blocked. However, blockages are easily found and the SteamPro may be replaced online, without disturbing the existing pipes in 5-minutes. Applications, such as, copper heat tracing may not be advisable, due to frequent blockage.

5. Can SteamPro be successfully installed for varying loads? Or, is it only possible for certain loads?
SteamPro may be used in better than 95% of the cases. When the live steam losses exceed half kilogram per hour or the SteamPro is less than 99% efficient we will advise our customers of the situation. Our customers have the final say. We do not apply SteamPro for extreme varying loads.
6. How much downtime is incurred, when checking on SteamPro traps?
The SteamPro is truly a real time online inspectable device. The SteamPro may be open to inspect the condensate flow in 5 minutes.
7. Is back-pressure experienced when using SteamPro System?
Back-pressure is often cause by steam traps losing too much live steam. In this case, conversion to SteamPro will reduce the back-pressure.
8. Why does SteamPro Products have such long life expectancy of 20 years and more, compared to other steam traps in the market?
At moderate steam pressure, below 40 bars, the steam has very little effects on the SteamPro’s orifices. The SteamPros are constructed entirely of Stainless Steel and has no moving pasts. It operates almost unchanged oven a spam of many years.
9. Is it necessary to also install leak-detection devices, when using SteamPro System?
There is no reliable leak detector in the market as we know. The SteamPro will work the same as it was new for many years. Leak-detection devices are not needed.
10. Where can I use SteamPro?
Our engineer will work with you, survey and study your equipment and give you our best possible approaches/advices.
11. How can SteamPro release air, carbon dioxide and other non-condensables?
Non-condensable will choke your system. The SteamPros are designed to promote heat transfer efficiency. We will insist on a trace amount of live steam losses for maximum efficiency. Therefore Non-condensable will be discharged with the minimal live steam losses.
12. Can SteamPro perform in a vacuum return system?
Yes. SteamPro will works with any steam pressure differentials. SteamPro's lose only a trace amount of live steam and, therefore, it is much better for vacuum return system than conventional steam traps.
13. Does it require many different types/models of SteamPro to implement a steam trap-replacement program?
Usually only one type of SteamPro is required with many different size. The SteamPro's come in various pipe sizes, the discharge rates vary from a few kilograms per hour to thousand of kilogram per hour. Therefore, you will be furnished with only proper models. Many models size maybe required depends on your needs and its our engineers job to size correctly for you.
14. How can you ensure that SIZING will be correct for my plant/factory?
We train our engineers. They will be right most of time. However, they are not gods. Therefore, we design the product to be real time and online inspectable. If the sizing is incorrect, the situation may be remedy in 5 minutes. We always perform post installaition verification and report to you of the results.
